Great power comes with great responsibility. Responsibility means making conscious choices every moment of every day about every little thing, and that’s not easy or comfortable to do. However, it’s the only way we can be accountable, in order to understand and make use of the effects of our choices; the only way we truly learn, awaken and evolve. We also begin to realize the true power in this world…
Ultimately, yet not so obviously, it all comes down to the quality of the relationship that you have with yourself. The more troubled a relationship you have with yourself, the more opinions you hold, the more complex your thinking becomes, the more superficial and prejudiced your ideas, the more disconnected you are from reality, despite the illusion that you are temporarily safe, loved, seen.
And when the former antagonistic, critical relationship changes to a peaceful, harmonious, cooperative one, then you begin to receive a whole lot more than you ever thought possible; answers to questions you’ve had for a long time, how to heal, which way to go, what to do, foresight, inspiration, intuition, true compassion, etc., etc.
The problem in this world is the good people; the kind, the helpful, the willing, the available, the cooperative, the selfless. When you actually understand this, below its smiley surface, your whole conceptual and physical world changes to correspond more with the real world than with previous fantasies.
Every illusion must fade, every lie must be revealed, every fear must subside, every chain must be broken, if you want to be a conscious human being; in love, in truth, free.
When you get rid of illusions it hurts, otherwise it didn’t matter. But then, you realize you’ve broken the chains and have grown wings to fly with. That in between fear of jumping into the unknown; becoming unsafe, is the point of growth.
Your mind is your sanctuary. You’re not meant to control it but be its master. They are not the same but entirely different levels of consciousness.
It’s all about learning!
